Raphael Fiziev He made it clear that he intends to take the confrontation to the extreme in UFC 325, this Saturday (31), in Sydney, Australia. On the eve of facing Mauricio RuffyThe Kazakh lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) raised his voice when talking about the duel and promised a fight at the physical limit, treating the octagon as an environment where only the most prepared survive.
In a video released by the UFC channel, the ninth-ranked fighter showed confidence when commenting on the final stage of his preparation and reinforced that he expects to face the best version of Ruffy. Fiziev highlighted the importance of being willing to go the extra mile in high-level fights and stated that he only accepts sharing the octagon with opponents ready for anything, including death.
"The camp is over. Now I'm going to lose weight and then crush it. In the cage, we enjoy ourselves, we cook. The cage is like a kitchen. We love to cook and eat. But, before entering the cage, there's one important thing: it's a catwalk… I've faced many people like him (Mauricio Ruffy) in life. They all wanted to defeat me. Unfortunately, many of those people went back home.
"I was born with this and I was born for this. I need him to have the best fight of his life. I need a tough opponent. I want to leave my whole soul in the cage.
