Held in the early hours of Friday (30), the official weigh-in for UFC 325 went without any problems for the main headliners. Stars of the event that takes place this Saturday (31) in Australia, Alexander Volkanovski , featherweight champion (up to 65,8 kg), and Diego Lopes showed professionalism and made weight, confirming the main fight. In the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), the duel between strikers Mauricio Ruffy and Rafael Fiziev is also official.
Besides 'Franja', the featherweight title challenger, and the member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy, Tallison Teixeira also fulfilled his pre-fight obligation. In the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), the 2,03m giant faces veteran Tai Tuivasa , who is fighting at home. However, the flyweight final (up to 57 kg) of 'Road To UFC' between Aaron Tau and Namsrai Batbayar was cancelled because the former exceeded the division limit.

Luffy gives a scare
Ruffy caused some surprise at the weigh-in. The Brazilian made weight for the lightweight division at 70,4 kg, but he was quite thin; he even closed his eyes on the scale and thanked God. On the other hand, Fiziev was bursting with health. Strong and smiling, the Kazakh weighed in at 70,5 kg at the ceremony.

Tallison well below the limit.
The most intriguing aspect was Tallison. Despite being 2,03m tall, the Brazilian giant was light for heavyweight standards. The promising fighter weighed in at 117,4 kg, three kilograms lighter than Tuivasa, who went all the way to the permitted weight.

Fight canceled
The last fighter to appear at the weigh-in, Tau was the only one who fell short. Coming in well below the flyweight limit, the athlete raised doubts and was therefore invited to step on the scale again. Unfortunately for him, his weight went from 55,5 kg to 58,5 kg, exceeding the division's permitted limit. Due to the controversial episode, the UFC decided to remove the fight from the event.
