In the main event held this Saturday (31), in Australia, the Brazilian was defeated again by Alexander Volkanovsky, featherweight champion (up to 65,8 kg). At the end of the 25-minute battle, the judges scored it 49-46, 49-46 and 50-45 for the Australian.
It's true that, unlike their first fight in April, Diego was more aggressive in the octagon. The Brazilian pursued Volkanovski and put him in dangerous situations. However, the Australian was also prepared to face 'El Brabo' and even more motivated to fight at home.
