Benoit Saint-Denis gave Dan Hooker no chance at UFC 325, held last Saturday (31). In the co-main event, the Frenchman imposed an intense pace from the first second, dominated the action on the ground and won by technical knockout in the second round, after a brutal sequence of ground and pound.

After a strong first round, Saint-Denis returned even more aggressively for the next round, determined to finish the fight. The Frenchman took Hooker down, locked in a catagatame, and, realizing that the New Zealander wouldn't give up, abandoned the submission, advanced to mount, and punished his rival with a flurry of punches and elbows, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

With the victory, Benoit Saint-Denis reached his 17th career win and extended his streak to four consecutive wins in the UFC, adding Dan Hooker 's name to the list. The New Zealander, on the other hand, is now experiencing a negative phase, accumulating two consecutive losses in the organization.
