A fan of fighting, Carlos Prates attended the UFC 325. Special guest of the organization to promote the event held this Saturday (31), in Australia, the Brazilian watched the fights up close and could not contain his euphoria with the important victory of his friend Maurício Ruffy against Raphael Fiziev in light weight (up to 70,3 kg).
In footage released by the 'Red Corner MMA' profile, Prates appeared tense before the fight, but when his training partner from the 'Fighting Nerds' team knocked out the Kazakh fighter in the second round, he expressed his happiness. Relieved, the top welterweight (up to 77,1 kg) celebrated the result and, consequently, Ruffy's recovery in the UFC. The duo's partnership was also seen in another moment.

Upon exiting the octagon victorious, Ruffy, smiling, went to meet Prates and hugged him. Immediately, 'The Nightmare' reciprocated the affection, reinforcing the bond of friendship. With such reactions, the rumor that the athlete was out of sync with the 'Fighting Nerds' and had left the team due to training with [unclear] was dispelled.
