Jean Silva expressed dissatisfaction at seeing his name left out of Alexander Volkanovski 's immediate plans in the race for the UFC featherweight (up to 65,7kg) belt. After beating Diego Lopes in the main event of UFC 325, held this Saturday (31), the Australian champion mentioned Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy as possible next challengers, a decision that irritated the Brazilian.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Jean questioned Volkanovski's stance in choosing opponents who, according to him, offer less physical risk. The Brazilian fighter suggested that the champion was avoiding tougher confrontations and stated that he would be willing to take on that role, positioning himself as an opponent who represents a real danger inside the octagon.

"Look, here's the thing: I know Volkanovskj is already asking Evloev, I don't know what, he's asking the guys not to hurt him, you know? Man, I'm sorry to inform you: if you want to stay cool, without getting hurt, I understand you. But if you want to fight a guy who hits hard, that's me," said Jean Silva.

Still in the recording, 'Lord' went further and, ironically, revealed plans to intensify his training alongside Ilia Topuria , the only fighter to defeat Volkanovski in the featherweight division.
"And I'll tell you more: I'm going to do a training camp with Topuria... I'm going to do a training camp with Topuria to break Volkanovski," concluded Jean Silva.
