Things are heating up! Jean Silva responds to Volkanovski and sets his sights on a UFC title: 'There's nowhere to run'

The UFC featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg) is not easy. After Alexander Volkanovski dismissed a possible fight against Jean Silva and indicated Lerone Murphy or Movsar Evloev as his next challenges, the Brazilian decided to respond. In a strong tone, the Fighting Nerds member didn't mince words on social media and made it clear that he remains confident in a future title fight.

In a story posted on his Instagram, the Brazilian responded to the Australian champion's statements and reiterated that he believes it's only a matter of time before their paths cross in the octagon. The Fighting Nerds athlete also recalled criticisms made by Volkanovski after his loss to Diego Lopes at Noche UFC in September 2025, and guaranteed that he is ready to prove his worth within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Jean Silva taunts Volkanovski and demands accountability from the UFC champion.

"Hey guys, regardless of anything, regardless of the internet pronouncements, of Volka saying I lost, that he didn't imagine I'd lose so badly (to Diego Lopes at Noche UFC )... I have one thing to say, brother: there's nowhere to run."

Jean Silva wants to face Volkanovski and remains convinced that he is on the right path to the top of the division. Confident, the Brazilian dreams of bringing the featherweight title back to Brazil and sees himself as the natural heir to the legacy left by José Aldo.
