Alexandre Pantoja's conqueror pleads for a fight in the UFC: 'I'm bored'

Having not fought since UFC 323, Joshua Van used social media to reveal his need to get back in action.

Executioner of Alexandre pantoja and current UFC flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg), Joshua Van He has once again stirred things up outside the octagon. At 24 years old, the Burmese-American phenomenon used social media to make it clear that he wants immediate action and is not satisfied with waiting for a new challenge in the organization.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Van went straight to the point, demanding a decision from the UFC. Without mincing words, the champion made his impatience with the period of inactivity clear, an undesirable scenario for a fighter at the peak of his career and holding a prominent position in the organization's pound-for-pound rankings.

"I'm bored!! I need a fight," he wrote. Joshua Van on his profile, reinforcing his desire to return to the octagon as soon as possible.

Joshua Van's current situation

Joshua Van won the flyweight belt in UFC 323, in December 2025, by knocking out Alexandre pantoja with just 26 seconds of fighting, after the Brazilian suffered an arm injury.

With this achievement, he became the first fighter born in Myanmar to sign with and win a title in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), as well as the first male champion born in Asia and the youngest in the modern era, behind only [name missing]. Jon Jones.
