Bruna Brasil gained extra motivation to confirm her good form in the octagon at UFC Vegas 113, scheduled for next Saturday (7). The athlete from the Fighting Nerds team, who faces Ketlen 'Esquentadinha' on the preliminary card of the event, met Amanda Nunes during her trip to the United States and was inspired by the former champion's energy for the commitment in the most famous octagon in the world.

In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS , Bruna enthusiastically recalled the encounter. According to the strawweight (up to 52,3kg) fighter, the surprise happened unexpectedly, right after she got out of the shower, when she recognized the 'Lioness's' voice and ran to greet her, overcome by an almost childlike reaction in the presence of one of her greatest role models in the sport.

“She was one of the people I dreamed of meeting, right? And I got so excited when I heard her voice… I was in the bathroom. I had just gotten out of the shower, and I started rushing. I came out and said, 'Wow, hey, Amanda?' Like a kid's face when they see an animated character. Wow, she's so friendly. She came over to greet me, as if I already knew her. So, it was really cool. She's a really charismatic, very friendly person. So, it was really great to meet her in person,” said Bruna Brasil.

During the conversation, Bruna didn't hide her admiration for Amanda Nunes when asked about her fight against Kayla Harrison . The 'Nerd' stated her unconditional support for the Lioness against the American. However, when comparing the former UFC champion to the queen of soccer, Marta, she seemed slightly conflicted.

“Amanda 100% (against Kayla)… (against Marta) is difficult, man, I haven’t met Marta yet, you know? Like, I’ve greeted her, but it’s never been a matter of, like, talking and exchanging ideas. So, that’s why Amanda, because I’ve met her, we’ve already exchanged ideas.”, concluded the UFC fighter and former soccer player.
