Farid Basharat lived up to expectations and maintained his perfect record by defeating Jean Matsumoto at UFC Vegas 113. In a lively bantamweight bout (up to 61,2 kg), the Englishman showed greater consistency throughout the three rounds and won against the Brazilian by split decision.
During the fight, Jean had some good moments, especially when landing impactful strikes and attempting to impose his takedown game. However, Basharat responded efficiently, relying on wrestling and varying his actions on his feet and in grappling. Even when the Brazilian sought control in the grappling match, the Englishman found space to score points and maintain a high pace. The volume of strikes and consistency throughout the fight were decisive for the result, confirmed on the scorecards with two cards scoring 29-28 in his favor.
With the victory, Basharat reaches 15 wins in his career and remains undefeated as a professional, consolidating his sixth appearance in the UFC and getting closer and closer to the top 15 of the division. Jean Matsumoto , who was coming off a victory over Miles Johns in August 2025, now has 17 wins and two losses in his record.

Daniil Donchenko secured a convincing victory over veteran Alex Morono at UFC Vegas 113. In a welterweight bout (up to 77 kg), the young Ukrainian demonstrated superiority throughout the three rounds and emerged victorious by unanimous decision.
The fight began at an intense pace, with both fighters engaging in a stand-up exchange. Donchenko gained the upper hand offensively and quickly began inflicting visible damage on Morono, whose nose bled after a series of blows. Despite the difficulties, the American showed resilience and managed to survive the initial pressure. In the second round, the fight became more cautious, with the athletes working at a distance. Donchenko attempted a spinning elbow strike unsuccessfully, while Morono sought to close the distance and press against the cage in the final moments.
In the third round, Donchenko began to exploit low kicks after noticing his opponent's leg fatigue, thus better controlling the pace of the fight. The fight started intensely, with Veretennikov pressing and connecting with a powerful sequence of blows. The precision of the attacks soon unsettled Price, who began to retreat after being hit near the cage.
