Kyoji Horiguchi showed that he deserves a title shot in the UFC. The Japanese fighter entered the UFC Vegas 113, held last Saturday (7), dominated Amir Albazi and had his arm raised by unanimous decision of the judges. With the victory, Horiguchi reached the incredible mark of 36 career wins and only five losses.

After winning UFC Vegas 113, Kyoji Horiguchi should move up to sixth place in the next ranking update and get closer to a title shot in the division led by Joshua Van . On the other hand, Amir Albazi , who now has his second consecutive loss, should lose his position. In total, the 32-year-old fighter has 17 wins and three losses in his career.

Horiguchi started the first round with more energy, moving around the octagon and looking for an opening in his opponent's guard. With great vitality, the Japanese fighter landed a high volume of punches throughout the fight. Kyoji also tried his hand at kicks, some spinning kicks that came close, but without much effect.

The 35-year-old veteran showed he can go much further in the organization. Quick throughout the fight, Horiguchi was precise in landing strikes when closing the distance. In the second and third rounds, the Japanese fighter managed to intensify his attacks and accumulate even more damage to his opponent.
