Wang Cong made it clear that she wants to face Alex Poatan 's ex-girlfriend in her next UFC appearance. After beating Eduarda Moura at UFC Vegas 113, held last Saturday (7), the Chinese fighter gained even more confidence and pointed to Tracy Cortez as her target for her next fight in the octagon.
In a video posted on social media, Wang Cong praised the American's appearance and talent, but urged her to return to competition more actively. The Joker stated that Cortez should prioritize her MMA career, emphasizing that winning a championship belt is more important than getting involved in relationships, before encouraging her to get back to work and accept the challenge.

“Hi Tracy Cortez , you’re very beautiful and very talented, but you need to get back to competing. Stop focusing so much on relationships. Dating a champion isn’t better than becoming a champion yourself. So, get back to work, darling. Come on, baby!” said Wang Cong.

Wang Cong extended her winning streak by defeating another Brazilian at UFC Vegas 113. The Chinese fighter, known as the Ultimate's "wild card," had already beaten Victoria Leonardo , Bruna Brasil , and Ariane Lipski before facing Eduarda Moura in the octagon at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Despite facing some dangerous moments in the grappling exchanges, Wang Cong managed to reverse the position and control the Brazilian until securing the victory by judges' decision.
Alex Poatan and Tracy Cortez's relationship
During the turn of the year from 2025 to 2026, Alex Poatan surprised fans by announcing a new relationship. The light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) used social media to post a photo alongside fellow fighter Tracy Cortez , publicly confirming the romance.
However, the relationship was short-lived. Just nine days after the announcement, Poatan once again took to Instagram Stories to announce the end of the relationship, putting an end to the involvement that quickly gained prominence among MMA fans.
"Thank you to my fans for all the love. I would like to inform you that although Tracy Cortez and I have shared great moments together, we have decided that it would be best for both of us to go our separate ways. I wish her all the best on her journey," wrote Poatan.
