Movsar Evloev did not react well to seeing Jean Silva position himself as the next challenger for the UFC featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg). After Alexander Volkanovski defended the title at UFC 325, the Brazilian publicly stated that there is no other name next in line besides his. The statement, however, was met with irony by the undefeated Russian in the organization.
In an interview with 'Submission Radio', Evloev mocked Jean Silva 's attitude and stated that, upon learning of the 'nerd's' ambitions, he had the same reaction as when he saw the Brazilian emotional upon receiving the Ultimate belt backstage at UFC 324.

After defeating Diego Lopes at UFC 325, Alexander Volkanovski made it clear that he wants to face either Movsar Evloev or Lerone Murphy in his next featherweight title fight. The champion's signal, it seems, aligns with the UFC's plans.
Through social media, the organization announced the fight between Evloev and Murphy as the main event of UFC London , scheduled for March 21st. The winner of the duel will be in a privileged position to challenge Volkanovski for the title in the category.
