Controversy! Comedian claims former UFC champion attacked him with illegal blows; bad boy responds.

Sean Strickland He is at the center of yet another controversy, this time outside of the UFC. The former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) is in the final stages of preparation to face... anthony hernandez this Saturday (21), in Texas (USA), however, he saw comedian Preacher Lawson recount a controversial episode involving him. As could not be otherwise, the alleged event divided opinions.

During a presentation, Lawson, a fight fan, joked about Strickland and detailed a rough time he had with him. When he showed up to train at the 'Xtreme Couture' gym, the comedian recounted that the fighter invited him to a sparring session. Upon accepting the invitation, Preacher stated that the bad boy lost his temper and struck him in the back of the neck, an action considered illegal due to the risks involved.

"I think if Strickland wasn't an MMA fighter, he'd be a serial killer. I only think that because, in an interview, he said: 'If I wasn't an MMA fighter, I'd be a serial killer,'" joked the comedian.

Strickland's reply

After learning of the joke and the comedian's allegation, the former UFC champion spoke out. In his explanation, Strickland, known for giving his all in training and punishing YouTubers and digital influencers in sparring sessions, denied having applied illegal blows to Lawson and, this time, stressed that he had no intention of hurting him.
