Two of the most popular names in the UFC today, Alex Poatán e Khamzat Shimaev They have already clashed more than once, mainly on the part of the Chechen, who has challenged the Brazilian on several occasions. Even though the hypothetical confrontation is full of speculation, the best scenario for the player from São Paulo would be to leave the settling of accounts for another time. This is the opinion of Borz's own coach.

In an interview with 'MMA Hoje' last Monday (16), the person responsible for the jiu-jitsu training of the current middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) acknowledged that the duel would bring many benefits to the pupil, but the reverse would probably not be true.
“If I analyze the situation from Khamzat’s point of view, Khamzat vs. Pereira would be the fight that would sell the most, and Khamzat would be fighting for another belt, which would be great for him. He’s not the type of guy who will make excuses if things don’t go his way. But Khamzat would fight even more relaxed if he moved up a weight class,” he stated.
UFC star Khamzat Shimaev gave his coach Alan Finfou a Rolex, but asked him not to sell it. And it's a torture for Finfou because he could buy a home for his family in Brazil if he sold it:😭

Analyzing the Brazilian's point of view, Finfou said that Poatan should accept the fight with the Chechen right after competing in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) and seek his unprecedented third belt.
“If I were Pereira, I would accept that fight next because, let’s be honest, Khamzat would be the biggest challenge. Pereira would have to defend a belt. Pereira already has two belts and now has the opportunity to achieve something that no one has ever done in UFC history. If I were Pereira, I would say: 'Khamzat, I have a bigger goal – I need to go after the third belt.' But could this fight happen? Yes,” he concluded.
