Former Invicta bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), Yana Santos had the opportunity to compete for the UFC featherweight crown (up to 65,7 kg) against the legendary Cris Cyborg in March 2018. On that occasion, she couldn't match the Curitiba native and ended up losing by technical knockout in the first round. Now ranked fifth in her natural division, she has the opportunity to become a challenger again if she breaks the Brazilian's winning streak.
