On his official Instagram account, Ryan revealed his desire to have two more grappling matches against old acquaintances. Considered by many to be the best grappler in history, the American issued a respectful challenge to Vinny Magalhães and Felipe Preguiça, his eternal rival. And the choice of names is justified.

Vinny was one of the few professionals who managed to beat Ryan, who was defeated only nine times in his career. In fact, that defeat, which occurred in 2018, was the last one suffered by the American. With Preguiça, the story is different. Over the years, Gordon has faced his rival four times on the mats, losing the first two fights and winning the others, the most recent being in 2024.

"I hope to return... especially for two fights against Vinny and one last dance with Felipe. Until the time comes," wrote the jiu-jitsu legend.
