Conor McGregor The Irishman stirred up the MMA scene after suggesting his return to the octagon may be imminent. Through a social media post, he stated that he had received an offer with an opponent and a date to fight, and that he had accepted the deal, fueling speculation about a possible participation in the highly anticipated UFC White House event, scheduled for June.

In a post via X, formerly Twitter, McGregor made it clear that negotiations were advanced and indicated confidence in reaching an agreement. However, the former champion deleted the message shortly afterward, increasing the mystery surrounding his plans with Dana White's organization.

"They offered me an opponent and a date, and I accepted. Awaiting my contract," the fighter wrote before deleting the post.

The Irishman also recently appeared in videos training hard, including a sparring session with compatriot Eoin Sheridan, a 6'4" (1,96m) tall PFL athlete. In the footage, 'The Notorious' appears active, throwing combinations of punches and even a high kick, signaling his dedication to his return.
