“Strickland will throw more than 150 front kicks. I must say that the only advantage of the front kick is that Fluffy has already shown weakness in his body – he has injured himself in that area a few times. Despite being known for his physical dominance, Hernandez has faced adversity on several occasions throughout his UFC career with body shots. In fact, his last defeat in the world's largest MMA event came in this way. In May 2020, Kevin Holland defeated him by technical knockout in the first round after landing a knee to his midsection. More recently, he experienced similar problems early in his fight with Michel Pereira.
