Held this Friday (20), the official weigh-in for UFC Houston went smoothly. Stars of the event that takes place this Saturday (21), Anthony Hernandez and Sean Strickland , former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), passed the scales well, confirming the main fight. The trio of Brazilians led by Michel Pereira also did well and are officially in the octagon.

Hernandez and Strickland were the first fighters to appear at the pre-fight ceremony. Ranked number four in the middleweight division, 'Fluffy' barely struggled to make weight. On the scale, the athlete, calm and healthy, weighed in at 84,3 kg.

In turn, the former champion of the category also presented himself in good physical condition. Focused, the bad boy weighed in at 83,9 kg. The duel between the athletes is extremely important, as it could determine the next challenger for the title currently held by champion Khamzat Chimaev.

Michel Pereira and Melquizael Costa will fight on the main card and did not disappoint at the weigh-in. In the middleweight division, the "Flying Paraense" weighed in at 84,3 kg. Zachary Reese , his opponent, also made weight at 84,1 kg. In the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg), "Dalmatian" weighed in at 65,9 kg, the same weight as his opponent, Dan Ige.

In the preliminary card, Carlos Leal , a welterweight (up to 77,1 kg), weighed in at 77,1 kg, meaning he was lighter than his opponent. On the other side, Chidi Njokuani weighed in at 77,5 kg.
