One of the most illustrious and beloved figures in MMA, Bruce Buffer, 68, was honored by the UFC while still alive this Saturday (21). Recently, the company's official announcer celebrated 30 years of service. Due to the impressive milestone, the organization paid tribute to the veteran during the UFC Houston broadcast.
And the tribute to the professional, known as 'The Voice of the Octagon', makes perfect sense, since many consider him the best announcer in history. During the UFC tribute, Buffer, visibly emotional, showed his happiness and reciprocated the public's affection. Receiving a standing ovation from fans and MMA professionals, the veteran waved to them and blew kisses.
