Sean Strickland had good reason to apologize to Anthony Hernandez after his victory at UFC Houston, held last Saturday (21). The American knocked out his Mexican-American rival in the main event, in a duel full of tensions that went beyond the octagon. However, at the end of the fight, the loudmouth made a point of retracting his provocations and explained the reason.
In an interview with 'Full Send', Strickland stated that he decided to apologize after being informed by Hernandez that he had shown the middle finger to his seven-year-old daughter, who ended up interpreting the gesture as an act of hatred against Mexicans. The wrestler said he felt bad about the situation and stressed that, although he did not regret the provocations directed at the audience that was booing him, he regretted the impact his attitude had on the child.
