UFC President Dana White acted quietly and achieved a great victory in boxing. Last Friday (20), Zuffa Boxing, the American's organization, announced the signing of Conor Benn, one of the best boxers of today and a leading name in Matchroom Boxing. Upon learning of Eddie Hearn's lament over the loss suffered, the veteran did not forgive his rival.

In his statement, the president of Matchroom Boxing revealed that he was devastated by the fighter's decision to sign a multi-million dollar contract with Dana's company, highlighted his lack of loyalty and promised war against Zuffa Boxing. Therefore, at the post-UFC Houston press conference, held last Saturday (21), the company leader denounced the rival's boxing attitude.

Dana stressed that if the Englishman were a friend of the fighter as he claims, he wouldn't be complaining but rather rooting for his success. Not satisfied, Dana ridiculed Hearn, suggesting that he poses no threat whatsoever to his newly created company. It's worth noting that the veteran is one of the main and most powerful boxing promoters.

"I think you've seen this week that I'm literally hitting babies. Is there anyone more cowardly than Eddie Hearn? Is there anyone more of a wimp than Eddie Hearn? This guy should be your friend, but you're crying," said the executive.

"He earned more money. He's going to earn more money. He had the right to match the offer and he could have matched it. What a load of crap. We're literally beating babies," he concluded.

Benn's fighters in boxing

Conor Benn, 29, is a boxing star. The Englishman began his career in the sport in 2016, winning 24 fights and losing only once, avenging his only defeat. His main triumph was precisely against Chris Eubank Jr.
