Ronda Rousey She believes her fight against Gina Carano could help the UFC in a way that is, at the very least, questionable. The former champion surprised fans by announcing the fight against another MMA pioneer, promoted by MVP and broadcast on Netflix, in a move that, according to her, can rival with Ultimate and Paramount+, but also to force Dana White to raise the level of his organization.
In a video published by MVP, Ronda stated that she intends to dedicate herself fully to making the fight a success and that the initiative could even benefit the UFC given the current lack of competition in the market, by encouraging the organization presided over by Dana White to evolve.

In an interview with ESPN, Ronda Rousey He explained that he contacted Dana White to see if the UFC was interested, but negotiations didn't progress, which ultimately paved the way for the fight to take place outside the organization.
“I contacted Dana and asked if he would be interested in this. It didn’t exactly work out with the UFC, but that brought us to where we are today. I was nine months pregnant,” she said. Ronda Rousey.
