Champion of everything! MMA legend Cris Cyborg fights for boxing title in Brazil.

After making her mark in MMA, Cris Cyborg continues her quest to expand her legacy in combat sports. And the athlete's new commitment, who has been successful in boxing, is significant and has all the makings of an unforgettable event. On March 28th, in Curitiba, the veteran will compete for the vacant WIBA (Women's International Boxing Association) super welterweight title against Paulina Cardona.

The information was released by the fighter herself. The fight between Cyborg and the Colombian will last ten rounds and will be the main event of the 15th event of the Cyborg Nation company. Therefore, the athlete, who will be competing at home, has the chance to add another belt to her collection, this being her first in boxing, and promises a 'Gala Night'. In her resume, the renowned professional boasts titles from Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, Bellator and the PFL.

Legendary Career

Cris Cyborg , 40, is a legend in MMA. The Brazilian began her career in the sport in 2005 and continues to compete at the highest level. In the sport, the Curitiba native has built a record of 29 wins, two losses, and one 'no contest' (no result). Her main victories were over Cat Zingano , Gina Carano, Holly Holm , Larissa Pacheco , Marloes Coenen (twice), and Yana Santos.

In boxing, Cyborg debuted in 2022 and is undefeated. In total, the Brazilian has won seven fights, five of them by knockout.
