In a fight valid for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg) at UFC Mexico , held this Saturday (21), the Brazilian faced José Medina in the fight that closed the preliminary card and, still in the first minute, applied a blitz on the Bolivian, who was knocked out.

With the victory, Gandra reached 10 wins in his career, while José Medina suffered his fourth defeat in four UFC fights.

In the first minute of the fight, Ryan Gandra went on the offensive and pinned José Medina against the cage. After a series of blows from the Brazilian, the Bolivian went down, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
After having his arm raised, Ryan Gandra didn't mince words and left his message for the middleweight division.
"I want to tell you that the problem of division has arrived," said the Brazilian.

Kris Moutinho failed to secure his first victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) this time. The Portuguese fighter, who suffered two defeats in his first stint with the organization, returned to the octagon at UFC Mexico to face Cristian Quiñonez , but was ultimately dominated by the hometown fighter and suffered his second loss in this new phase of his career in the world's largest MMA organization.
On the other hand, Cristian Quiñonez reached the mark of 19 career victories, two of them in the UFC. The Mexican also ended a negative streak of two consecutive losses, returning to winning ways in front of his home crowd.
