Vicente Luque 's fight schedule has changed drastically. The Brazilian was preparing to face Kyle Daukaus at UFC 327, but Daukaus withdrew due to injury. Now, Luque will face Kelvin Gastelum in a veterans' clash at the grand event scheduled for April 11th in Miami (USA).
The fight was announced by the company itself during the UFC Mexico broadcast last Saturday (28), and is part of the preliminary card of the highly anticipated show. Luque will be making his middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) debut for the company against a professional already familiar with the division. For the match, the Brazilian arrives under pressure, having lost his last two fights to Joel Álvarez and Kevin Holland.

On the other hand, the 34-year-old American, who constantly has problems making weight, is coming off a victory over Dustin Stoltzfus . In any case, Gastelum, like Luque, has already experienced his best days in MMA.

Vicente Luque , 34, is a veteran of MMA, who rose to fame on the reality show TUF 21. The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2009, debuted in the UFC in 2015 and, at his peak, came close to competing for the company's welterweight title (up to 77,1 kg).
In this discipline, the athlete built a record consisting of 23 wins, 20 of which were by stoppage (11 by knockout and nine by submission), 12 losses, and one draw. His main victories were over Belal Muhammad , Jalin Turner , Michael Chiesa , Mike Perry , Rafael dos Anjos , Randy Brown , Thiago Marreta , and Tyron Woodley.
