UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) Khamzat Chimaev has shifted his focus for the next stage of his career. Having not fought since August in Chicago (USA), when he dominated Dricus du Plessis , the Russian is waiting for the company to name his first title challenger, which could be Nassourdine Imavov or Sean Strickland . However, 'Borz' is eyeing a different fighter, one interested in competing in wrestling.
After pursuing Alex Poatan and failing to make the superfight a reality, Chimaev has once again ignored the top contenders in his division to challenge the controversial Colby Covington . Since the American bad boy is one of his rivals, the UFC champion called him out for a fight at RAF and also provoked him.

Given their popularity as wrestlers, a potential duel between the two could become a reality, considering the organization's growing prominence and the presence of UFC professionals or those with experience in the league. And, if it were up to Chimaev, his intention would be to compete for the RAF on March 28th, meaning before returning to the octagon.
"In the next RAF, I'll make the American kid humble again. Clown Colby, let's go," wrote the UFC champion on his official 'X' account.
Colby fought in the RAF
Despite a rough patch in the UFC, Colby Covington returned to winning ways in combat sports at RAF 5 in January. In the main event, the wrestler faced Luke Rockhold and put on a show, ultimately winning through superior technique.
Next RAF I will make American boy humble again colbiclown let's go 🦾😂
