It seems that the mystery surrounding the UFC White House event will be solved. In the early hours of last Saturday (28), Dana White, president of the company, brought forward the planning and informed that he will announce the fights for the grand event, scheduled to take place on June 14th in Washington (USA), soon. Thus, the future of Alex Poatan should also be decided.
During the live stream in which he confirmed that Carlos Ulberg and Jiri Prochazka will fight for the vacant light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg) at UFC 327, the UFC president revealed that the MMA community will finally know which athletes will fight at the White House this week. Since the Brazilian relinquished the belt in pursuit of the top heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg), his presence at the highly anticipated event is likely.

Alex Poatan , 38, rose to fame in kickboxing with Glory and made his UFC debut in 2021. From there, the Brazilian experienced a meteoric rise, becoming one of the organization's main stars.
Not surprisingly, the athlete won the middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight titles. Furthermore, the renowned striker has a record that includes former champions: Israel Adesanya , Jamahal Hill , Jan Błachowicz, Jiri Prochazka (twice), Magomed Ankalaev , and Sean Strickland.
