Paulo Borrachinha , who is scheduled to fight Azamat Murzakanov in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) at UFC 327 on April 11th in Miami (USA), is focused on his preparation. A video of the Brazilian's training camp has been shared, demonstrating his great commitment to seeking another victory in the octagon.
In a video shared by the 'Red Corner MMA' profile, the 34-year-old from Minas Gerais is seen performing an intense series of shadow boxing exercises, with and without dumbbells. In addition, the athlete honed his punches on the heavy bag and focused on mitt training.

Before being confirmed for UFC 327, Borrachinha had a fight scheduled against fellow Brazilian Brunno Hulk for UFC 326, scheduled for March 7th. However, without an official reason being given, the fighter from Minas Gerais was removed from the card. The fight would have been in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), a category in which the athlete is ranked 12th.
Returning to the light heavyweight division after four years, the Brazilian is looking to improve his record in the division. For your information, this will be his second fight in the category. Previously, the fighter from Minas Gerais was defeated by Marvin Vettori by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 196 in October 2021.
It's worth remembering that, on that occasion, the athlete failed to make the 83,9 kg weight limit, and the fight was moved to 93 kg at the last minute. Officially, this will be his first fight in the light heavyweight division, but in fact, the Brazilian has already had experience fighting in the weight class above middleweight.

The Brazilian's last fight in the organization was against Roman Kopylov . On that occasion, he won by unanimous decision at UFC 318 in July 2025 in New Orleans (USA).
