Amid his preparations to fight at UFC 327, Paulo Borrachinha showed that he is well-prepared. The Brazilian, who faces Azamat Murzakanov in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) on April 11th in Miami (USA), opened the doors of the space where he will spend the next six weeks leading up to his return to the octagon.
In a video published on his YouTube channel, the athlete from Minas Gerais toured the mansion, which features a leisure area, swimming pool, sauna, weight training area, and tatami mats for training sessions in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, boxing, and other important modalities for the 34-year-old athlete to be fully prepared for April 11th.

It's worth remembering that, before his fight against Azamat Murzakanov was confirmed , Borrachinha had a fight scheduled against Brunno Hulk at UFC 326 , planned for March 7th. For reasons that were not officially clarified, the fighter from Minas Gerais ended up being removed from the card. The fight would have been in the middleweight division, where he is currently ranked 12th.
Now, the fighter returns to the light heavyweight division after four years trying to write a different chapter in the category. This will be his second fight in the division. Previously, the fighter from Minas Gerais was defeated by Marvin Vettori via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 196 in October 2021.
On that occasion, the athlete failed to make the 83,9 kg weight limit, and the fight was moved to 93 kg at the last minute. Officially, this will be his first fight in the light heavyweight division, but in fact, the Brazilian has already had experience fighting in the weight class above middleweight.

The Brazilian began his professional MMA career in 2012. Since then, he has accumulated 15 wins and four losses in his record. His journey in the UFC began with a victory over Garreth McLellan by technical knockout in the first round at UFC Fight Night 106 in March 2017 in Fortaleza.
The Brazilian's last fight in the organization was against Roman Kopylov . On that occasion, he won by unanimous decision at UFC 318 in July 2025 in New Orleans (USA).
