MMA fans around the world will be treated to a duel between two of the most popular names of all time this Saturday (7), in the main fight of UFC 326. With Max Holloway and Charles do Bronx facing each other in the most famous octagon on the planet, there is a good chance the judges won't be needed. However, Tom Aspinall came out publicly last Wednesday (4) to make a public appeal to the Blurred Lion, in order to avoid a brutal outcome in favor of the Blessed One.

Almost like a fan, the Briton showed his support for the Brazilian not to engage in a stand-up exchange in the last ten seconds of the fight, should he be challenged by the Hawaiian. According to him, the strategy is nothing more than a trap set by the current BMF champion, reminiscent of Justin Gaethje 's fate at the legendary UFC 300.
“We don’t want to see Oliveira go crazy in the last ten seconds. After what happened to poor Justin Gaethje in Las Vegas, nobody else should suffer the same fate, especially not Charles Oliveira,” said the current heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

Against the Highlight, Holloway dominated the fight for most of the five rounds, even breaking his opponent's nose at the end of the first round with a spinning kick. In the final ten seconds, Gaethje opted for a stand-up exchange and was brutally knocked out when the clock showed four minutes and 59 seconds.

The UFC's all-time leading finisher, Charles, has stated on several occasions that he will not shy away from Holloway's traditional challenge. However, given the Hawaiian's "rules" and the Brazilian's aggressive nature, it's possible the fight between the two won't even reach the final ten seconds for them to experience the thrill. For comparison, in nearly 50 professional fights, the São Paulo native has only reached the fourth round once, when he defeated Michael Chandler for the second time.
