Anyone who thinks Charles do Bronx is just an MMA fighter who only trains and breathes combat sports is mistaken. It's true that, this Saturday (7), in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian will headline UFC 326 against Max Holloway , the 'BMF' champion (the company's toughest fighter), but he also finds free time to have fun. And, outside of action, the veteran doesn't hide his love for the 'Pokémon' franchise, which is a worldwide success.

Charles even got a large tattoo on his leg in homage to the anime. In an interview with the YouTube channel 'UFC on Paramount+', the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) detailed the entire process and revealed his favorite Pokémon. It's worth noting that the Brazilian likes the franchise so much that he owns figurines of the creatures, especially Pikachu, as well as collectible cards and other items.

“It turned out great. Actually, it took a few days because I didn't have much time. I wanted to do it on a whim, and then it took four hours, three hours, four days. Actually, when I started, I wanted to do the ones I like the most. I did Ash, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Mewtwo. I tried to include the ones that are most often with Ash, that are part of Ash's team,” said the former UFC champion.

“Then I started adding Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, the ones I like the most. I added the Poké Balls, that's pretty much what I wanted to do. Before, I said I had to add Pikachu. I added Pikachu and then the others. We've been adding them since we were little. I added the ones I like the most. Like, if anyone looks, they know it's about Pokémon. It makes it easier,” he concluded.
