Finally, the big day has arrived for Charles do Bronx , one of the most beloved fighters by fans, to seek an unprecedented title in his already celebrated career. At UFC 326, an event that takes place this Saturday (7), in Las Vegas (USA), the veteran faces Max Holloway , for the second time in his career, in the main fight and aims not only to even the rivalry, but also to win the 'BMF' belt (baddest motherfucker).

But anyone who thinks that UFC 326 only features the rematch between MMA legends, valid for the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), is mistaken. In total, the event consists of 12 fights. In addition to Do Bronx, the 'Brazilian Squad' will be represented by five more professionals.

The main card features Brunno Hulk , Caio Borralho , and Gregory Robocop , all top middleweight fighters (up to 83,9 kg). In the preliminary card, Rafael Bipolar and Rodolfo Bellato will compete in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg). 1) Charles do Bronx, BMF champion?

After becoming UFC lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira became obsessed with the 'BMF' title and expressed a desire to hold the coveted object more than once. With Max Holloway winning the belt by delivering a historic knockout against Justin Gaethje and defending it against Dustin Poirier , the fight was set up. With the athletes' approval, the company made the bout official, to the delight of the fans.

The interesting thing is that this will be the fifth time the 'BMF' belt will be at stake, precisely in a rematch between the athletes. In the first fight, held in 2015 in the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg), the Brazilian came out worse. In just over a minute, Charles was hit and, due to the injury, was unable to continue competing. Now, in 2026, the American will face the veteran again in the lightweight division.

For the rematch, Charles guarantees he's strengthened in all aspects of the game. Even being the greatest finisher in UFC history, the athlete stated that his intention isn't just to take 'Blessed' to the ground. Confident in his improved striking, the Brazilian assures that he has the ability to knock out the Hawaiian striker.

Despite his experience, Do Bronx is considered an underdog by the bookmakers, but this status doesn't faze him. After all, the veteran has achieved most of his notable victories as the underdog. In any case, the MMA community expects the rematch between Charles and Holloway to be a war worthy of the tough-guy status they both possess.

A standout from the 'Fighting Nerds' academy, Caio Borralho is focused on recovering in the UFC. In September, the Brazilian was no match for Nassourdine Imavov , losing by points and suffering his first defeat in the company. Now, the athlete will face Reinier de Ridder , who also lost his undefeated record in the octagon in his last appearance, against Brendan Allen.

It's true that Borralho suffered a tough setback and took him out of contention for the middleweight title, but his confidence remains unwavering. In fact, the athlete clings to the track record of his friends. Just as Carlos Prates , Jean Silva, and Maurício Ruffy bounced back after their first UFC losses, 'The Natural' believes he can do the same. So much so that his prediction is a knockout victory.

If the main event between Charles and Holloway is a rematch, the duel between Brunno Hulk and Gregory Robocop , which opens the main card of UFC 326, is also a reunion. And the atmosphere between the Brazilians for the new fight is so tense that there was even an argument.

In their first encounter, held in 2023, Hulk surprised everyone in his UFC debut by knocking out Robocop in the first round. Since then, both athletes have finally broken into the top 15 of the middleweight division. 

Visibly bothered by the knockout he suffered, Gregory challenged his opponent to do the same on Saturday and promised revenge. Brunno, on the other hand, pointed out that his opponent didn't last a round and guaranteed he was ready to win again. Given the aggressive and powerful nature of both athletes, the fight is likely to be exciting.

Also on the main card, the lightweight bout between Drew Dober and Michael Johnson has all the ingredients to be a highlight of UFC 326. This is thanks to the aggressive style of these veterans. Long-time members of the company, both athletes are striking specialists and don't shy away from a good fight. And the numbers prove their quality.

Dober is the all-time leading knockout artist in UFC lightweight history (10 times). Johnson, in turn, is tied with Melvin Guillard for the most knockdowns in the division (13 times). Therefore, given the high level of striking both fighters possess, this fight has all the makings of a spectacular event.

5) End of the line for the former champion?

At his peak, Cody Garbrandt was feared in striking and delivered one of the best performances by an MMA fighter. In 2016, he simply dethroned Dominick Cruz and even danced in the octagon, becoming the bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) undefeated. However, it only took 'No Love' losing his undefeated record to rival TJ Dillashaw and the rematch, both by knockout, for his career to fall apart.

Since 2017, Garbrandt has only three wins against seven losses. The American's poor run is so severe that, even with his status as a former champion, he is no longer in the top 15 of the bantamweight division and has been fighting on the preliminary cards of events. Now, the veteran arrives at UFC 326 under pressure. With two consecutive defeats, 'No Love' needs to get past Xiao Long if he still wants a future in the league.
