Diego Lopes will have the chance to make a comeback in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in grand style. After suffering his second defeat to Alexander Volkanovski in a featherweight title fight (up to 65,7 kg), the Brazilian, who represents Mexico in the octagon, will return to action on the UFC Casa Branca card.
After losing to Volkanovski, recovering with a knockout against Jean Silva , and then succumbing again to the Australian's power, Diego took a step back in the division. Now, the fighter faces the ninth-ranked Steve Garcia in a fight that could put him back in the title race.

Garcia, for his part, is experiencing a great phase in the organization. The American has seven consecutive victories in the UFC and will have the opportunity to crown his good moment with a triumph that could take him to the top 5 of the category.

While Diego Lopes opens the show, Ilia Topuria and Alex Poatan will be the big stars of the event. In the main fight, the Spaniard faces Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg). The Brazilian will face Ciryl Gane in a fight for the interim heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg).
