Charles Oliveira believes he has done enough to earn another opportunity to fight for the lightweight title (up to 70,3 kg). The Brazilian faced Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326, dominated the Hawaiian over five rounds, and won the 'BMF' title. For the 'Blamed Lion', the result puts him in a privileged position in the race for the division's throne.
In an interview with UFC News, Charles indicated that his main goal remains to return to fighting for the division's undisputed title. The Brazilian stated that he believes he fulfilled his role by accepting the fight and winning, and now intends to return home, rest, and enjoy some time with his family while awaiting the definition of his next steps in the UFC.
