Alex Poatán Finally, his future was defined, and it was not at all surprising. After vacating the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg), the Brazilian had his move up to heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) confirmed. Last Saturday (7), the athlete was officially announced in the co-main event of UFC Casa Branca, an event scheduled to take place on June 14, in Washington (USA). As the renowned striker could win his third belt in a different category of the company, Dana White praised him.

Dana revealed that he would work with the renowned striker to give him the chance to become the first triple champion in UFC history and, days later, granted him that opportunity. But for this to happen, Poatan will have to beat Gane, one of the most respected and feared heavyweights. Precisely because he recognizes the Frenchman's quality, the UFC president issued an important warning to the Brazilian.
