Charles do Bronx 's dominant performance over Max Holloway at UFC 326 is reverberating throughout the MMA world. The Brazilian, who won the symbolic 'BMF' (baddest motherfucker) belt against the Hawaiian last Saturday (7) , in Las Vegas (USA), received praise from a former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) and former rival in the Ultimate.
During the broadcast of the event, Dustin Poirier , who previously faced 'Do Bronx' at UFC 269 in December 2021, highlighted the absolute control exerted by the Brazilian throughout the five rounds. The former athlete stated that he had rarely seen Holloway neutralized in that way. According to the American, the 'Blushing Lion' seemed to be on a different level, even saying that the intensity displayed resembled that of a "possessed" fighter inside the octagon.
“It was complete domination. We’ve never seen Max dominated like that. Charles seemed possessed in there. He cornered Holloway, got his back, and simply took him down hard. Max had no answer for the takedowns,” analyzed the American.

With his 25th UFC victory, Charles Oliveira moved closer to an impressive record in the organization . The Brazilian secured second place on the list of athletes with the most wins in the company, behind only veteran Jim Miller , who leads the ranking with 27 victories.
If he wins two more fights in the octagon, the new champion 'BMF' could equal the American's record and, depending on his rival's future results, take the title of the winningest fighter in Ultimate history.
