Paddy Pimblett got excited imagining a possible duel against Charles Oliveira . The Brazilian won the BMF belt at UFC 326 by dominating Max Holloway with an efficient grappling game, a performance that caught the attention of the Briton and made him consider sharing the octagon with the 'Flough Lion'.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Pimblett stated that he would like to face the Brazilian. According to the fighter, although many believe Charles has a considerable advantage in grappling, he doesn't see the technical difference in that way and believes they could compete on equal terms on the ground. The Briton also predicted that a potential fight between the two would have a high chance of turning into a striking war.

Charles do Bronx believes he has done enough to earn another opportunity to fight for the lightweight title (up to 70,3 kg). After defeating Max Holloway by unanimous decision, the 'Floughed Lion' believes his performance puts him in a privileged position in the race for the category's throne.
“Man, honestly, to be completely honest, I’m looking for a title, that’s what I want to do, wait and see what happens. I’ve done my part, I came here to fight and win, and now I just want to go home, be with my family and rest a little,” said Charles do Bronx in an interview with UFC News.
