Having not fought in MMA since 2016, Ronda Rousey She's back in the sport, but not with the UFC. On May 16th, in California (USA), the combat sports star will headline the first mixed martial arts event on Netflix alongside veteran Gina Carano. However, at the press conference to promote the show, held last Tuesday (10), 'Rowdy' made a point of attacking her eternal rival: Chris Cyborg.
It all started when Ariel Helwani, journalist and presenter of the ceremony, praised the fight between the athletes, highlighting the investment made by Netflix. Proudly, Gina also recalled the importance of her duel against Cyborg in 2009, for Strikeforce. Upon seeing her friend mentioning the Brazilian, Ronda lost it. Without thinking twice, the American lashed out at the Curitiba native using strong language.

The UFC Hall of Famer stated that Cyborg only beat Gina because she was doping. Furthermore, this wasn't the first time Ronda accused the Brazilian of using banned substances to enhance her performance. On that occasion, the MMA legend knocked out Carano in the first round, ending her undefeated streak and winning the inaugural Strikeforce featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) title.
“That was obviously a pumped-up, cheating b**** who completely screwed you over and stole your title. It was rightfully yours. You’re too nice to say this, but I’ll say it anyway: ‘F*** her!’ You’re the best,” said the MMA legend.

Ronda RouseyThe 39-year-old made her mark in judo and MMA. The American began her mixed martial arts career in 2011, debuted in the UFC in 2013, and retired in 2016. She was so successful that she dominated the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg) and was inducted into the company's Hall of Fame.
In the sport, Ronda built a record of 12 wins, all by stoppage (nine by submission and three by knockout), and two losses. Her main victories were against... Alexis Davis, Zingano cat, Liz Carmouche and Miesha Tate (twice).
