Known as a man of stone, Alex Poatan expressed excitement about his upcoming fight. The Native American is scheduled to face Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg) at UFC Casa Branca on June 14th in Washington, DC (USA). Aware of the importance of this fight for his legacy, the Brazilian shared some words with his fans.
In a post on his Instagram feed, Poatan said he was very happy and grateful to have been chosen to fight the Frenchman. The striker emphasized that he wanted fans to feel exactly the same as he is experiencing and guaranteed that he will make history on the highly anticipated White House card.
“I wish you could feel what I’m feeling right now. Being able to fight in such a big event is something very special to me. I’m very happy and very grateful for this opportunity. We’re going to make history,” said Poatan.

Therefore, Jiří Procházka and Carlos Ulberg were chosen to fight for the belt in a bout that headlines UFC 327, scheduled for April 11th in Miami.
