The announcement of the UFC White House main card generated strong opinions from various personalities in the MMA world. However, not all of them can be characterized as positive. Colby covington, former interim welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg) and one of the most controversial names in the entire sport, his match-fixing duels are far from pleasing the public.

Never one to mince words, Caos criticized the absence of fellow countrymen at the event. He felt the way the card was put together demonstrated a lack of care on the part of the matchmakers.
“It’s terrible, at best. The fans have already spoken out and said they hated it. It’s a terrible card. They promised six or seven title fights, and now there’s only one title fight and one interim title fight that was arranged at the last minute. The event was a complete mess. They put everything together at the last minute, and there wasn’t a single renowned American fighter. Who are the representatives of the United States at the nation’s 250th anniversary? It seems they don’t care anymore. They made all that money with Paramount and they’re simply happy. It is what it is,” he stated.
