Caio Borralho He feels he is one fight away from challenging for the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg). In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS, the Brazilian revealed that he entered the octagon injured. According to Borralho, two weeks before the fight he suffered a dislocated rib, but he managed to overcome the problem by maintaining focus and willpower during the fight, factors that, according to him, were fundamental to achieving the positive result.
“Look at the size of this rib. Two weeks before the fight I had a rib dislocation. But everything turned out alright, I kept my mind in the present, with willpower, and we went there and got the result,” he said. Caio Borralho.

Nerd also commented on the recovery process and indicated when he intends to return to the octagon. According to the middleweight, rib injuries usually require a considerable recovery time, but he believes that by July he will have enough time to fully recover and complete a proper training camp to face high-level opponents, as he anticipates direct confrontations with fighters in the top 5 of the division.
"Man, I think the rib takes a while to heal. But probably around July, I think it will be a good time to recover well and have a good camp, to fight with the high-level guys, because now the fight will be in the top 5," explained Nerd.

In the Fighting Nerds athlete's view, a duel of this caliber would be fair to both the fans and the UFC itself.
“I would tell him that the best fighters in the world have to test themselves against each other. And we are among the best fighters in the world, and it's only fair for the fans, for the UFC, for those who enjoy the sport, that we also fight against each other, see who is the best and who wins,” he continued.

“It’s difficult, but we’re all very close (to competing for the title), right? With one more victory, I’m already right there. Prates, with this victory now too. Jean can go straight there. Ruffy is at the White House. Maybe this one and one more will get him there too. So I think that by the end of next year, all four of us could have belts.
