The Brazilian, who defeated Dan Ige by technical knockout in the first round of UFC Houston on February 21st, has the possibility of headlining an important card against the eighth-ranked featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) on May 16th in Las Vegas (USA).
According to the 'Ag Fight' website, 'Melk' and Arnold Allen are expected to headline UFC Vegas 117. Unlike the Brazilian, the Englishman is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jean Silva at UFC 324 in January. The 32-year-old, who went undefeated for 12 fights between 2014 and 2022, is experiencing the worst moment of his career. On the other side, ranked 12th, 'The Dalmatian' is trying to maintain his winning streak and, if he wins, could move closer to the top positions in the title race.
