Jean Silva may be facing a great opportunity in the UFC. The Fighting Nerds representative, coming off a close victory over Arnold Allen at UFC 324, has indicated that he wants to pursue a chance to face Alexander Volkanovski and, by all indications, may be close to having his wish fulfilled.
Through his Instagram stories, the Brazilian suggested that important news may be on the way, but stated that he cannot yet reveal details about what is to come. Confident, Jean Silva reinforced his belief that he will be the next champion of the organization and stated that fans should stay tuned for future updates.

"I'm about to tell you the news, but I can't. Or maybe we won't even be the ones to say it... A fish dies by its mouth, I'm the next champion and you'll have to see it. Always be ready," said Jean Silva.
Volkanovski has other plans in the UFC.
After defending his title against Diego Lopes , Alexander Volkanovski made it clear that he intends to face the undefeated fighters in the division. The featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) indicated that his next opponent should come from the fight between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy , a duel scheduled for UFC London.
