Kevin Vallejos , 24, lived up to his status as an MMA sensation and simply shone in the main event of UFC Vegas 114. At the event held this Saturday (14), the Argentine, rival of Jean Silva , gave no chance to the veteran Josh Emmett , 41, and delivered a real beating. With his boxing on point, the athlete knocked out the American in the first round.
Vallejos fought the biggest fight of his career and passed the test with flying colors. Undefeated in the UFC, the Argentinian has four wins and continues to rise in the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg). With this dominant victory, the athlete, currently ranked number 14 in the highly competitive category, should take over Emmett's 11th position.
Kevin Vallejos , 24, is a UFC newcomer, but he's already making waves. The Argentinian began his MMA career in 2021, having been discovered through the Contender Series program, and debuted in the company in 2025. In the sport, he has built a record of 18 wins, 14 by stoppage (12 by knockout and two by submission), and one loss. His main victories were over Giga Chikadze and Josh Emmett.

Vallejos started the fight attacking with a high kick and an uppercut. Cautious, Emmett circled the octagon and threw a cross. Determined to impress, Vallejos, with his boxing skills sharp, landed a series of punches that startled Emmett. Then, Vallejos delivered a knockdown to Emmett with his cross.
Focused, Vallejos remained dominant in the striking exchanges. Bleeding, Emmett struggled to attack Vallejos. When he did attack, Emmett was knocked down again after receiving a cross. Emmett was so shaken that when he threw a punch, he fell to the ground on his own. With his opponent in a precarious situation, Vallejos attacked him with punches, elbows, and knees, knocking him out in the first round.
