Kevin Vallejos, 24 years old, lived up to his status as an MMA sensation and simply shone in the main event of ufc vegas 114. At the event held this Saturday (14), the Argentine, rival of Jean Silva, gave the veteran no chance. Josh EmmettThe 41-year-old fighter delivered a real beating. With his boxing skills in top form, the athlete knocked out the American in the first round.
Vallejos fought the biggest fight of his career and passed the test with flying colors. Undefeated in the UFC, the Argentinian has four wins and continues to rise in the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg). With this dominant victory, the athlete, currently ranked number 14 in the highly competitive category, should take over Emmett's 11th position.

Vallejos started the fight attacking with a high kick and an uppercut. Cautious, Emmett circled the octagon and threw a cross. Determined to impress, Vallejos, with his boxing skills sharp, landed a series of punches that startled Emmett. Then, Vallejos delivered a knockdown to Emmett with his cross.
Focused, Vallejos remained dominant in the striking exchanges. Bleeding, Emmett struggled to attack Vallejos. When he did attack, Emmett was knocked down again after receiving a cross. Emmett was so shaken that when he threw a punch, he fell to the ground on his own. With his opponent in a precarious situation, Vallejos attacked him with punches, elbows, and knees, knocking him out in the first round.
