Jean Silva didn't miss the opportunity to comment on social media after Kevin Vallejos ' victory at UFC Vegas 114. Having defeated the Argentinian in the past, the current sixth-ranked featherweight (up to 65,8 kg) fighter commented on his rival's performance, who delivered a great performance by knocking out veteran Josh Emmett at 3:33 of the first round.

In a post on his X profile, formerly Twitter, 'Nerd' drew attention by praising Vallejos' triumph last Saturday (14). Even with both showing interest in meeting again in the octagon, Jean showed that the desire to face the Argentine again does not prevent him from congratulating him when something impactful, like the recent performance, happens.

"Excellent performance by Vallejos," wrote Jean Silva in a post, accompanied by three clapping emojis.

When will the UFC rematch between Jean Silva and Kevin Vallejos take place?

Jean Silva and Kevin Vallejos , who previously shared the octagon in September 2023, have not yet set an official date for a rematch. In their first encounter, the Brazilian emerged victorious, winning by unanimous decision in Dana White's Contender Series.

The fight in question, marked by intense striking, secured Jean's contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Since the Argentinian joined the organization, the possibility of a rematch has been mentioned.

Neither of them rules out a rematch, but neither treats it as a priority. Both Jean and Vallejos want to win the featherweight belt and believe that this duel could happen precisely in a title fight.
