And Kamaru's intention is nothing new. When he reigned in the welterweight division, 'The Nigerian Nightmare', after being provoked by McGregor, called him up a weight class to face him. As the Irishman may return to the company in June or July, the African is closely watching his moves.

'The Nigerian Nightmare' began his career in the sport in 2012 and debuted in the UFC in 2015. In the sport, the professional built a record of 21 wins and four losses. His main victories were over Colby Covington (twice), Demian Maia , Gilbert Burns , Joaquin Buckley , Jorge Masvidal (twice), Leon Edwards , Rafael dos Anjos , Sean Strickland , and Tyron Woodley.
