Kevin Vallejos opened up about the possibility of facing Jean Silva again in the Ultimate. The Argentinian, who jumped from 14th to 10th position in the featherweight ranking (up to 65,8 kg) after a beautiful knockout over Josh Emmett at UFC Vegas 114 , last Saturday (14), indicated when the rematch could happen in the octagon.
During an appearance on 'The Ariel Helwani Show', Vallejos made it clear that he believes a rematch is only a matter of time. The prospect adopted a confident tone when projecting a new duel with his rival. According to the Argentinian, even if the fight doesn't happen immediately, the reunion between the two should materialize at some point in the future.
“I’m definitely not desperate or obsessed with this fight, but I know I’m getting closer and closer to my rematch against Jean Silva . I know it’s going to happen, it could be in the next fight or it could take a little longer, but I’m sure that rematch will happen at some point,” Kevin Vallejos said in an interview.
