Kevin Vallejos doesn't want to wait to meet Jean Silva again in the octagon. The Argentinian, who is in great form in the Ultimate, won his last fight against veteran Josh Emmett at UFC Vegas 114, last Saturday (14), and made it clear on social media that the Brazilian is his priority at the moment.
In a post on his X profile, formerly Twitter, Vallejos slightly changed his approach regarding his next steps in the UFC. The Argentinian, who had previously said on 'The Ariel Helwani Show' that he wasn't "obsessed" with the rematch , now stated on his account that he is going after the Brazilian.
"We're going after Jean Silva ," wrote the current tenth-ranked fighter in the UFC featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg).

Interestingly, during his appearance on 'The Ariel Helwani Show', the 24-year-old prospect had indeed envisioned a rematch, but without showing any urgency for it to happen immediately, something that, it seems, has changed.
“I’m definitely not desperate or obsessed with this fight, but I know I’m getting closer and closer to my rematch against Jean Silva . I know it’s going to happen, it might be in the next fight or it might take a little longer, but I’m sure that rematch will happen at some point,” Kevin Vallejos said on the show.

Both Kevin Vallejo and Jean Silva are in great form in the UFC. Both won their last fights and entered the top 10 of the division. The Brazilian, who defeated Arnold Allen at UFC 324 in January, was ranked 11th and, with the victory, moved up to sixth place.
On the other hand, the Argentinian was ranked 14th and, with his impressive victory against veteran Josh Emmett , moved up to tenth position.
